Odisea Labs is an innovation lab bridging Latin America’s crypto and deep tech gap. We back early‑stage builders, publish open research, and run programs that turn ideas into products.
Over the next quarter we’ll: lead Phase II of our Deep‑Tech‑in‑LATAM Landscape study; launch a project on AI‑risk mitigation via blockchain; and deliver market analysis of frontier technologies across the region.
Literature & Primary Research – track and summarise papers, policy briefs, and industry reports; maintain an easily searchable archive.
Data Analysis Support – pull and clean datasets in Google Sheets, Dune, Lookr Studio, others; surface key metrics for ongoing studies.
Qualitative Insights – help design and run interviews / focus groups; take detailed notes, code findings, and update our knowledge base.
Written Content Creation – turn research into briefs, blog posts, newsletters, others.
Stakeholder Engagement – help schedule and prep convenings with founders, investors, academics, and regulators.
Regulatory Tracking – monitor LATAM policy changes that affect crypto and deep tech, flagging anything relevant to our projects.
Curiosity and baseline knowledge of crypto, AI, or other deep‑tech fields
Coursework or self‑taught skills in research methodologies, frontier tech, economics, or related areas
Comfortable with spreadsheets
Strong written & verbal communication in Spanish and English
Organised, proactive, and able to dedicate 20 hrs/week for 3 months (Aug 4 – Oct 31, 2025)
Experience with qualitative methods, student research groups, or hackathons is a plus
Hands‑on training in mixed‑methods research (quant + qual + on‑chain analytics)
A front‑row seat to deep‑tech trends shaping Latin America
Direct mentorship, weekly feedback loops, and a formal letter of completion
Exposure to leading founders, investors, and policy‑makers in the region
The chance to grow into a larger role at Odisea Labs.
This is a remote part-time (20 hours per week) role open to applicants across Latin America.
To apply, send a brief intro (≤ 250 words) and relevant links (CV, LinkedIn, GitHub, writing samples, etc.) to jobs@odisea.xyz
